Windows is shown to have been installed today and as of yet no updates have been installed, before going any further we need to know if the drivers for the MB have been installed and starting with the chipset drivers first + we need an updated Speccy url showing that Windows is fully up to date.

Yeah I reinstalled windows, I'll see if I have the option to update the motherboard drivers, and I'll update windows (before, it told me I couldn't because of my "company policy" or something similar), I'll post an updated speccy link when that's all done.

The motherboard drivers should either be installed from the disk that shipped with the board or be downloaded and installed from the maker of the boards website, Windows 10 has a lot of generic drivers for the likes of keyboards, mice and USB devices but they do not provide chipset drivers for MBs, fail to install the chipset drivers and you will always have problems.

From where did you get the Windows 10 media and product key that was used when installing Windows.

You are missing numerous Windows updates, we are up to 1903 so you are way behind on 1803, 14 months to be a bit more precise.

Not seeing any Gigabyte software for the MB having been installed either.

My Windows 10 was shipped with my PC, which was built for me by the store that also sold the parts I'm using

Does that include the PSU, reason I ask is because the info you gave us makes the PSU 8 or 9 years old and discontinued for almost as long.

Yeah, the PSU was included in the build.

The software was downloaded from the Aorus website, as they supplied the drivers for my motherboard. Maybe speccy lists it with Aorus instead of Gigabyte?

I'm checking if I can update to 1903 right now. I never knew my Windows was that far behind in updates.

Is the system still under any warranty? Parts usually carry a 1 or more year(s).

If that power supply is that old then it may be not able to supply the system with the proper amount of power. I would suggest getting it replaced which @phillpower2 can help with choosing the proper one that will fit that system.

Apologies for the delay, not been around for a couple of days
:(

Russ is correct, this should be put right under warranty so care should be taken not to void any warranty by opening up the case.

As an asides Xenoks, I`m really not sure how come a discontinued PSU has come to have been used in the computer, if you are sure that you have the correct PSU details that is the first thing you should take up with whoever built the computer.

I'll have to recheck my receipt and packaging when I can, I don't understand why a PSU that was discounted years ago would be used with my PC, so I'll make sure I didn't get anything wrong or check the wrong packaging and update this thread after that.

I looked around where the boxes of my PC parts were stored, and the only other PSU I could find any packaging or receipts of is a Chieftec A80, which I'm assuming isn't really better at all considering it's made by the same company and is an earlier product

Yeah I'll definitely have to contact them about it and hopefully get a replacement sometime soon

I hope that'd at least solve my boot issue, since nothing else seems wrong with my PC or OS at all

How would I go about finding a replacement? The store I got my PC from wouldn't be a good place to ask because of obvious reasons, and I don't know many people who could help me with finding a suitable replacement

Xenoks

You should not be taking this on yourself to put right, you have paid good money and have a warranty so I suggest that you use it, even if it is to get the merchant to send you a better and more appropriate quality and brand of PSU that you swap in yourself, if you start tinkering inside the computer you will void your warranty altogether and none of your hardware will be covered.
