I was messing around on my pc the other day and a "spec" window showed up, its up in the top right corner and there is no way to close it. no exit button, ive looked on task manager and cant seem to find it, nor do i know if it was activated by a hotkey.

use msconfig to see if there are any unrecognised entries there.
of course the rub is you need some knowledge to do that. but Google can be your friend there.

also check Programs & Features in Control Panel.
then there is Task Scheduler.

but it could also be malware, so you'll need the assistance of a malware removal expert, who will be along to assist you as soon as they see this thread.

Thanks, i took my pc to one of my buds who is proficient in computers, he figured it was something in the msconfig also. after about 10 mins he had it solved.
