Hello, I was wondering if I could use two Aegis G.skill 3000mhz 16CL sticks, one of them is 8gb other one is 16gb. Will everything run smoothly or could there be any problems? Sorry, I'm super new to PC stuff.

They should work together under ideal circumstances,

Please reference your Motherboard's manual to ensure (or post your system specs here) as some are more fussy than others.

If you have two identical sticks of ram but one is 8gb and one is 16gb, it will theoretically work, but please do keep in mind that this could cause errors (your slowest speed module will bottleneck any faster ones).

If you want a guaranteed (mostly!) smooth experience, your best bet is a kit, as these are guaranteed to work with one another and match in all the ways they should/need to.

+1 with Pyro.

if all other specs are equal, and it's just the capacities that differ, they should be fine.
only way to really know is to try it.
you won't break anything and you'll know for sure within a few days of usage.
