Solved shopping list

Iam a Linux ( newbie ). Iam not sure how to do this. I will tell you exactly what iam trying to do.
I created a desktop folder that says ( WalMart ) inside this folder i want to add shopping list items. I do have tommy boy folder on the desktop, and no how to use it just fine. But iam not sure how to put the shopping list in the WalMart folder.

I am doing it now on my Mint 18.
Escritorio is Desktop

Tommy boy has a document inside. Then we have to Left-click and hold-drag to the other folder
But if what you want to copy is text from a document in "tommy boy" in a document in WalMart folder, you have to open the "source" document:

go to the WalMart folder

If i understand you correctly this should work, if I'm wrong, please tell me what I did not understand to try to help you otherwise :)
