Screens turn black

Hi guys,
I've had this problem for a while and I can't fix it myself. Every second time I boot my computer the screens will go black within 10 minutes of booting. It seems like the everything is still operational. The screens remain on just completely black.
Any ideas on fixing this would be much appreciated.
Thanks
David

can you provide some system specs, like age, desktop/laptop, graphics card (add-on, in-built), memory etc.
and to confirm, it's literally every second boot up?
when it happens, you reboot and all is well until the next time you reboot, when it goes black again and you reboot yet again to rectify?

Hi Bruce,

931GB Seagate ST310005 28AS USB Device (USB)

TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224DB SATA CdRom Device

I can't tell if it's coincidence or not but it seems like every second time. I can't think of any other thing I'm doing that is triggering it. sometimes it'll happen after being off for a while, other times just as I have restarted it, but yeah it seems every second time. It will happen within the first 10 minutes of booting too. it can be on all day and nothing will happen. I have 2 screens and both go at once so. it's like it loses signal.
I will continue to diagnose it if I can but I'm not the best at fixing these issues.
