Solved Red light in the motherboard

Before making any purchase two things are always advised first, get the present GPU tested in a computer that has an appropriate quality and spec PSU or ask a local tech/tech store to test the GPU for you, reason for this is that using a weak PSU over a period of time damages any hardware that relies on it for power and the GPU being the most power hungry suffers first and tends to suffer the most, you don`t want to go to the time, trouble and expense of getting an appropriate PSU only to find out that the GPU has been damaged.

I was wondering if I change my GPU for a more recent version as Gygabite GTX 2070 Super OC3 is it better if I get a new PSU and motherboard? (Or my AsRock X99 Extrême4 is OK)

Recommending the purchase of anything new is always a last resort, stick to getting the GPU tested and go from there, you are causing problems for yourself if you change the MB as you will not only need a new CPU and RAM but also a new Windows 10 licence key as well.

Yes, so I went to test both and the guy who did the test said the GPU is fine, its a bite rusty since it's not a recent GPU but it still fine. In other way the PSU is very unstable he says that I should get a new 1 and it would fix the problem of my pc resetting.

Thanks for the update, while not ideal the outcome of only needing to replace the PSU is better than what you mentioned possibly replacing in your reply #24.

Keep in mind the following;

you have a pretty power hungry GPU with a 980Ti and should not be using anything less than a Gold efficiency rated 600W supply or above from a proven brand such as Corsair, EVGA or Seasonic
Due to the lock down quality hardware is both hard to obtain and more expensive than usual, the most appropriate and best value example that I could find is the Seasonic CORE-GC-650 80PLUS Gold 650 Watts non-modular PC power supply here
