Hi Aviciinator, Welcome to PCHF! :)

Have you backed up your data on the hard drive or SSD on that machine?

Press F1 to enter the Recovery Environment. Then when that is done click on Troubleshoot > Advanced Options and try running System Restore to restore the computer to an earlier restore point. If that does not work go back into the Advanced Options and this time select Command Prompt.

In Command Prompt at the System Recovery Options area run each of these commands and see if you can then get the computer to boot up properly.

  • Bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd

  • BootRec.exe /fixmbr

  • BootRec.exe /fixboot

  • sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows

  • chkdsk C: /r
See if the computer boots up successfully but if not then your other option would be to perform a clean install of Windows 10.

Hi @Aviciinator and welcome to PCHF :)

Did you add any new hardware recently?

What brand and make of computer is it?

Pre built ibuypower pc (literally had a month or 2 & used about 3 times). Cost $1800. Installed an Elgato and a second ram stick but thats about it. Was working fine.

iBUYPOWER Gaming Pro Desktop PC Liquid Cooling AM8520i Intel i7-8700k 3.70GHz, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 8GB, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB 7200RPM HDD, 240GB SSD, Wifi, RGB, Win 10, VR Ready https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075X2GK6D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_901NBbXT8Q35H

I’ll let you know! Thx :)

Update:

Everytime I try to press F1 it just restarts on its own and takes me back to the same blue screen. Doesn’t even show the Recovery environment, just immediately restarts upon F1.

I had it shipped from texas to LA via fedex, and was working fine before I had it moved locations. Can dislodged ram or hdd cause the recovery screen regardless of the error code?

I really dont want to have to reinstall and I have unbacked up data, and wanna try everything first.

is there a way to reinstall the OS without losing all my stuff?

If Windows has been installed on its own partition (as it should always be) then yes it is possible.

Let us know how getting on with checking for any loose connections or hardware goes, take care when doing this so as not to void any warranty.

Connections are fine. So now we have to try and repairl the OS without losing anything.

I have the windows disc, but theres no disc drive, whats the next steps guys?

You will have to download Windows 10 and burn the ISO file to a USB flash drive and boot from that, then perform a clean install of Windows 10 after backing up your data. You can download Windows 10 from here, Download Windows 10.

Can you link me to a flash drive on amazon that will work to boot from? Because I dont have another microsoft computer, only a mac. So I dont think id be able to format the usb and stuff, right? Can I even download the iso on to the usb via a mac..?

Why from Amazon, any local tech or stationary store will have one, just make sure that it is 8GB or above.

For the ISO use the Apple Boot Camp Assistant, see video and follow up info here

Something for you to try in the interim, try powering up and shutting down the computer two or three times using the power on button, hopefully after a couple of times the Windows Recovery Environment will come up.

Everytime I try to press F1 it just restarts on its own and takes me back to the same blue screen. Doesn’t even show the Recovery environment, just immediately restarts upon F1.

What happens if you try pressing F8 instead.
