While you are waiting for @jmarket and @phillpower2 here are some things to check and more information they may need.
How old is the system
When was the last time you cleaned the dust our
Desktop/laptop
Make and Model
Current System Specifications
What is the placement of the current system
What is the system sitting on when using
Have you tried a different wall socket
Tried a different power cord
Checked to make sure that everything was connected tight and securely may have to remove connection and reconnect.

They may have other information that they may need to know here is a start.

Post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:
In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

We can see a few issues going on in your Speccy report but for now will mention the one that needs immediate attention, the amount of free storage space on the HDD, see canned info below;

For Windows to be able to run efficiently and to be able to update you need to have between 20 and 25% of the partition or drive available as free storage space at all times, if you don`t you risk Windows becoming corrupt or not being able to update which puts you at risk of malware attack.

Data only storage devices should not be allowed to get any lower than 10% of free storage space of the full capacity of the drive/partition on the drive, this also to avoid data corruption.

Please note that storage devices can physically fail if the amount of free storage space is allowed to drop below the required 10 or 20/25% minimum.

Uninstall as many unused programs, games, videos and music files as you can, post back when you have between 20 and 25% free storage on the C: drive/partition and we can go from there.

Can I ask that you do not quote every reply, it really does not help any and just makes for unnecessary reading, thanks.

Other things of note in Speccy below, take care of them then run Speccy again and post the new url for us.

Avast is no longer recommended as it has become a bit of a monster in that it foists all sorts of unwanted add ons onto folk and in the process cause them various problems, you have a better free AV in Windows Defender when running Windows 10, see canned info below;

Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 come with an improved Windows Defender, it offers the same real-time anti-virus/anti-malware protection as Microsoft Security Essentials. Windows Defender also shares the same malware signature definitions as Microsoft Security Essentials, and Forefront Endpoint Protection. Technically, Microsoft Security Essentials has not been renamed Windows Defender, or combined with it in Windows 8, 8.1 and 10.

Having more than one AV installed on your computer is bad, it will slow down the computer, cause internet connection problems and leave you with no AV protection at all if they cancel each other out as they fight for resources.

If any AV product that you have is a paid for version you should always make sure that you have a copy of the product key kept somewhere safe just in case you ever wish to reinstall it.

You can uninstall Avast in the Control Panel but should you have any problems see Avast clean removal info here Please create a new system restore point first.

Once any other AV has been correctly uninstalled, check to see if Windows Defender has auto enabled and allow it to update and carry out a full scan of your computer.

Change the Windows Power Plan to Balanced, High Performance is a form of overclocking that is known to cause stability and overheating issues.
