RAM upgrade issues

Since my current system has 4Gb of RAM (single card DDR3 1333Mhz) and according to the leaflet the system has the capability of up to 8Gb of memory, I bought a 2nd memory card, exactly the same with the current memory card.
I disconnected all the cables from the tower, pressed the power button for a several seconds to remove static electricity (even had reset the CMOS) I plugged the additional memory card onto the remaining slot.
When I powered on the pc, I've heard some beeps with the following sequence * *** *** ***. The beeping stopped, the fans were turning at full spin and the monitor remained at a sleep state.
I tried to put the new card only in both slots at a time but the same happened as above.
Then I borrowed a DDR3 1066 2Gb from a friend, powered on, the same story but without any beeps.
I really need to upgrade my current system cos Windows 10 seem way heavier that 7 so I need those extra Gb of memory.

Heres my system : CPU : Intel Pentium E5500, Dual Core 2.8Ghz
MAINBOARD: Fujitsu D3041-A1
BIOS : Phoenix Technologies 6.00R1.02.3041.A1 (latest version)
CL:6, TRCD:6, TRP:15 TRFC:64 (clocks)
Current Memory Card: 4Gb PC3-10700H Corsair
GRAPHICS: NVidia GeFORCE GT 710 2Gb

Note that theres no clocking settings in BIOS or other memory related options.

there's only a few things it can be.
the sticks were not inserted correctly despite your best efforts. and that's no malice towards you - sometimes they just don't make a good connection.
next, the contacts (either on the stick or in the mobo slot) need a clean
and lastly, the new stick isn't compatible - again despite what specs may say.

my money is on the last - but try the others first of course.

does the rig work if you only have your original stick in it?

agreed, you should go back to the start. Insert you original stick of ram in the slot it was originally in and test it. If it works install that same stick in the other slot and test it. If all is good so far then try the new stick of ram only in the the slot the original stick was plugged into. If all is still ok try it in the spare slot and test. Do that to see if the new stick of ram works in both slots.

Yup, the original stick worked perfectly fine. The new sticks were not working when inserted on the same slot where the original used to be. To cut a long story short, I tried all the sticks,everywhere,alone or together. Despite the fact that I bought and tested the exact same stick with the original, nothing worked. So, I ended up with the conclusion that I might need two brand new 1066Mhz (instead of 1333) but I don't want to spend more money to buy something that is not compatible. That's why I'm looking for to get some help from you guys.
