Questions about bios

The speccy is this the new or the old computer?
Do you need Java? If not I would uninstall.
I would uninstall Nortons.
Windows defender is all you need today. You should also change your power plan to balanced.
Any thing other then balanced can cause instability in a desktop PC.
The other plans are made for laptops with a discrete GPU.

I'm with Peter, BIOS updates are typically recommended/suggested for brand new builds/QVL compatibility patches, or troubleshooting.

While new boards have a lot of recovery features, a failed BIOS update can brick a board - rendering it useless. It's not something to toy around with unless you have to.

the speccy is from my current setup. Only reason I have java is for minecraft and I meant to get rid of norton, it just installed when installing all the drivers form the usb that came with the motherboard.
