Hello,
Today I was cleaning my brothers pc and had to get some in and out. After putting it back together the pc wont boot anymore. It does not recognize (or power) any other usb devices and also wont give me any display. (it might be noting that the hdd and fans are getting power)

Ive dubble checked every cable now and didnt find anyhting there. System speaker doesnt do anything either. psu has a 4pin connector and MB has a 8pin input, looked up the manual and it says to connect it to the 1st and 5th pin on the motherboard (of which I assume are the lowest ones closest to the cpu).

the system has was a prebuild and had some problems shutting down on heavier loads.

specs:
  • Motherboard: N68-GS4/USB3 FX
  • CPU: AMD FX-4300
  • RAM: Micron 8gb 1600mhz
  • GPU: gtx 750ti
  • PSU: Inner Tech SL-500A (230V)

I'm lost what has changed?
did you replace the PSU? and now the 8pin mobo power requirement is only a 4pin one from the PSU?
can you provide a screenshot, that may explain things plus give a visual aid.
