PS2 to USB adapter for use with XBOX 360

there would be one foolproof way to find out. 
if you have a PS/2 keyboard and the adpater - plug it in. it can't hurt.
I'd be surprised if the XBOX mobo had old PS/2 drivers in their firmware.
but then, would it present itself as a USB device?, in which case you are expecting the adapter to do the work for you.
otherwise, a new, cheap, USB keyboard will get you over the hurdle.
but maybe a XBOX forum or website would know more.
