I wonder if anyone can help. The problem is actually two-fold:

I have problems printing pdf files, they are either incorrectly sized, very faint, or jumbled. I have a French version of Win7 but an English version of Adobe Reader so I wonder if I should download the French version. They offer 2 versions, either 2017.009.20044 or 11.0.10, I don't know which I should choose. Or maybe there are other untilities that print pdf files.

Then, since I tried to print a file and it came out too faint to read, I pasted it into OpenOffice and printed it with the same result. Now other files print the same way as well, too faint to read. The printer is fine and works correctly with MS Works. Do I need to download new drivers for OpenOffice?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hello

Try... look and see that economode is not checked under Paper Quality Tab, and it is set at FastRes 1200. This is for Adobe.
Ok, I changed the paper settings and it prints out pale grey but legible. I'll try some other settings and see if it's better.

Thanks!
