Hi, I bought easycap to convert my vhs tapes...I installed all the drivers and so on but when I try to convert I see my face on the screen of the program (I used 2 different programs). I tried to deactivate the webcam but when I deactivated it the screen is black...no video. What is the problem?

I can not offer any help other than to tell you that Years ago I purchased a combo VCR and DVR unit.
I was never ab;e to burn a tape to a DVD.
The DVD I tried to burn was from a tape that someone made so it wasn't as if it was protected in some manner.

Please post a link to exactly what you bought. Because apparently there are lots of units called by the same name

Here’s the gotcha, ‘my’ EasyCAP – shown in packaging above but with labels on each cable – is sold on eBay, Amazon, etc. as the EasyCAP Capture USB 2.0 Video Adapter with Audio which is shared by every other variant out there but internally it is called the eMPIA Technology USB 2861 Device.
