Ignoring the Note 7 controversy, I still wouldn't buy a Samsung phone again after the performance from my, and my SO's Note 4s. They honestly have great build quality, and the camera is on-par with an iPhone, but with the Pixel as an option now, you may be better off with a more vanilla Android OS than the nightmare known as TouchWiz. Nova Launcher makes it a bit more bearable, but not by much.
