Greetings,

I have a compatibility question:

Does a A320M GAMING PRO motherboard support a Gigabyte GeForce GT 710 2GB GDDR5 (PCI Express 2.0)

The specification for the motherboard state: PCI-E Gen: Gen 3.

Does this mean it only support PCI Express 3.0 graphic cards? Given that the GT710 is PCIe 2.0, can I assume it doesn’t support this card?

Hello Kambi,

PCI-E slots are backwards compatible and your GT 710 will work just fine, be aware though that the GT 710 is only an entry level card that is not suitable for gaming.
