Hello I'm hoping someone could help me with an issue I have with my PC.
Around 2 months ago, I tried turning on my PC and I got the error ''Repairing disk errors. This may take over an hour to complete.'' I had it turned on for over a day, and tried this for a week or so. But nothing fixed the issue.
I have a roommate who tried to google around to figure out how to fix the issue. He basically unplugged the SSD and re-booted my PC with windows from a USB if I remember correctly. (I'm not a tech nerd by any means, neither is my roommate, but he's a bit smart than me)
Then the issue was that this was only a temporary solution as PC booted without the SSD, and I honestly had no idea what was going on with my PC at all anymore, or how to fix this. Then I got a new error. Sometimes when starting the PC up I would get an error I don't remember exactly what it said but something along the lines of ''Choose a different booting device blah blah''. Then it wouldn't start up no matter how many times I tried to re-boot. But then the day after it would work fine, and basically it ended up only working every other day when I tried to turn it on.
So I finally got enough as I wanted it fixed, so I sent it to a PC technician but I live in a country which is not ''too involved with electronics'' I guess you could say. He fixed the issue somewhat, but now the issue is that every other time I turn on the PC it goes black screen. Simple re-boot solves the issue. Usually I would turn on the PC get 2x black screens and then after the 2nd/3rd re-boot it would boot correctly. This a re-occurring problem. The PC technician said it is most likely due to the graphics card but he wasn't 100% sure.
PC is 2 years old, and is a gamer PC.
Do you guys have any ideas which could help me, please? As I am getting quite desperate now.
