Hi,
I am going crazy beacause my new PC keeps randomly shutting off.
It only does shut off when i play games (Rust, LOL, even Minecraft).
I have no idea what's the problem and i've tried all i can think off like
updating drivers and bios, lowering settings in games but even though my games run smoothly,
it shut downs my pc.
Specs:
Radeon RX6600
AMD Ryzen 5 5500GT
32gb ram 2666hZ DDR 4
ASUS Prime B550 Plus
23.8" 180Hz 1ms Monitor from acer

1) Let’s show the complete PC specs using Speccy by Piriform - Get Speccy
Is Speccy safe?
In Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot (hit Yes if prompted) > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
Paste that link into your post.

2) Speccy doesn’t show the Power Supply Unit so, if a Desktop PC, list the make/model of the PSU.

3) Let’s also show installed programs using MiniToolBox by FarBar - Get MTB
In MTB, tick List Installed Programs, click Go then close the program.
A file MTB.txt is created in the same folder, attach that in a post.

These are just a few suggestions until @Bruce can take a look at the logs for you. :)

Might consider removing the preinstalled stuff from Asus.

Geek Uninstaller.

Perhaps also just as a test remove Kaspersky
You can always reinstall later, windows defender is sufficient for most home users.

Use Kill Em All -- Prior to launching your game,

This will close all non windows programs and running processes non essential to your computer. Note: This will close your browser, so save anything if needed prior to running.

From Speccy;
  • C:\ drive has detected high temps, try improving airflow within the case, or just run the rig without the case's side panel for a while.
  • Minimum wattage for the RX6600 is 450w, so your 500w PSU is just doable.
  • Never heard of the RebelTec power supply brand, but at only two years warranty, my guess is it's sadly not of the mid to high quality kind, more on the low side.
  • Speccy was unable to detect your memory. What are the specs/speeds of each stick?
As Mal has said, remove the ASUS bloatware - Armoury Crate, Framework, etc - basically anything starting with ASUS, it can always be reinstalled from ewither ASUS website or the mobo CD.

But if it was my rig, the first thing I'd be replacing is the PSU, not only is it on the dodgy spectrum, but because your shut offs only occur during gaming, that would be the logical hardware to blame.

It is not unheard of for 3rd party AV programs to cause issues.
If you remove Kaspersky, then test the PC for a few hours/days or how ever long it takes to shut off again (or not) then that will cross off one potential theory.

As to the case fans, and another theory of potentially the rig over-heating - let's open up the side cover and run it like that to see if the issue repeats or goes away. While the side is off, check the air vents on the case, and the fan blades for dust build-up, and the CPU heatsink for dust.

And of course, there is the elephant in the room - the PSU.
