hi
when i turn on my pc after a while whether im using it or its idle, my pc suddenly goes dark. i get a black like when its goes on standby mode but no matter what i do screen never comes back and sometimes im still hearing the sounds whenever i watch a movie or gaming. i did disable the standby mode to make sure its not the case but its still happening to me often even when im clearing in middle of using my pc.

whats is more strange to me is that when restart my pc i dont even see the mainboard screen and no loading at all just a black screen and a white dash on it. the only solution that helped so far is to cut power of directly and let it stay off for a minute or so. then it start loading the windows again.

this thing happens for me once or twice a day if im lucky but sometimes it happens more than ten time a day.i checked the sorage devices they are healthy and green updated my gpu driver noting helped so far. please if u know whats going on help me here

thanks

That is typical of something overheating, this includes the PSU internally, noticed from the screenshot that there is a problem with the chipset drivers and this could be preventing any AMD drivers for the GPU being installed.

Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM ( including the amount, number of sticks and speed ) add on video card and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better help you.

hey guys thanks for the reply i rly appreciate ur help.

Have you tried updating the gpu driver ? Give us the gpu spec's and also your psu spec's

i dont know the psu specs. is there a find to find out without opening the case?

yes updated the gpu few days ago. here is the file name that i got:
"whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-24.1.1-win10-win11-jan23-vega-polaris"

attached gpu specs and drivers details.

its custom build and i bought it second hand. at first it was very ok, i had this issue from time to time but not this frequent.

i'll have to do some digging around to find all the details u have asked and its late at night where i live. will do it in the morning asap.

There is one thing that is possibly worse than using a known poor quality brand of PSU and that is using one that is unheard of, for brands of PSU to trust and brands to avoid please refer to the links in my sig.

XFX recommend here a 550W PSU or a minimum of 500W, the present junk PSU has either killed your GPU or is slowly but surely doing so, no minimum efficiency rating and even when out of the box new it couldn't even produce 400W.
