PC Freezes when a Video is watched; then it starts & powers down in 1sec intervals

Problem
_________________________
I've had an annoying issue recently of my PC freezing whenever I'm watching a Twitch video or playing video games (League Of Legends or Fortnite).
And after it freezes I'll have to shut it down (via the switch on the PSU Cosair CX600). Whenever I then turn it back on, it'll start-up and then shut-down in 1second intervals.

Attempted Solution(s)
===========================
- Disconnect my Gigabyte Geforce gtx 1060 3gb Graphics Card and run the pc without it.

- Remove one of my 2 RAM Chips (G Skill Ares 8GB DDR3-1333) and run the pc with only 1 of these chips (in MOBO RAM Slot-2)

- Keep Attempting to switch on/off the power switch on the PSU until it turns back on again

===========================

The frustrating thing about this? Is that ALL of those attempted solutions Work. I'm zeroing in on the issue being the PSU probably, but I don't have enough PSU knowledge to say that it's the problem for sure.

I attached an HWMonitor reading of the voltages in case that would help. But I honestly have no clue as to what the root cause of this issue is.

[NOTE: The HWMonitor reading is with the PC in Attempted Solution 2 State; only 1 RAM chip in MOBO RAM Slot-2, and the GPU still in the MOBO]

Welcome to PCHF WiFiSunst,

Corsair make great PSUs but I`m afraid that they did not get it right with the CX600 and it had a high failure rate, the CX range of PSUs in general are only recommended for use with entry level computers and of the CX 600 Corsair actually state the following;

CX600 PSUs deliver the power needed for medium specification home or office PCs that do not have high numbers of components, while also offering high energy efficiency and low noise

Recommend you get a better PSU but meanwhile lets check your present temps and voltages;

Download Speedfan and install it. Once it's installed, run the program and post here the information it shows. The information I want you to post is the stuff that is circled in the example picture I have attached.
If you are running on a vista machine, please go to where you installed the program and run the program as administrator.

(this is a screenshot from a vista machine)
So that we have a comparison to Speedfan, download, run and grab a screenshot of HWMonitor (free).

To capture and post a screenshot;

Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start...all programs...accessories...paint....left click in the white area ...press CTRL + V...click on file...click on save...save it to your desktop...name it something related to the screen your capturing... BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .JPG ...otherwise it may be to big to upload... after typing in any response you have... click on Upload a File to add the screenshot.

Screenshot instructions are provided to assist those that may read this topic but are not yet aware of the “how to”.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: So I put the second RAM Chip back in (MOBO Slot-4), and the issue reoccurred after a few hours, whereas it didn't when only 1 RAM Chip was in the MOBO. Not sure if this update would change a diagnosis, so I'm putting it here in case it does (Not sure if a faulty RAM Stick could cause the issue as well). [And yes, the BIOS is up-to-date too].

I looked into more PSU's after reading your post too, and it definitely would help with all I've added to it.

I took the SpeedFan Readings & the HWMonitor reading as well (it's split into 2 parts so all info needed can be seen). Also attaching an image of the interior of my PC. Thanks for the help! (Also I put the screw back in for the GPU after taking this pic, I was in the middle of adding the 2nd RAM Stick back in before I did the tests).

The top part of the HWMonitor readings are missing, can you post an updated screenshot of just this, be sure to check that the scroll bar is at the top of the page.

No problem, the readings we needed are missing anyway, can you check what the temps and the +3, +5 and +12V readings are in the BIOS and let us know.

In addition to the above, no rush btw as I am retiring for the night now as I have an early start, back tomorrow around 8pm UK time.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

No problem, I'm Pacific Standard Time, so I'll try to get those readings later on in the evening.

As for Speccy, is there a way to post of link of the data it gives without it showing (IP information and etc). I've found it show's too much on the networking side of things tbh.
