Hello,

When i'm playing on my computer it randomly crashes with a green screen (when it crashes the pc doesn't fully turn off it just turns the screen off and still runs, i can hear the game in the back ground). Ive been trying to figure out the issue and tried so many different methods and non have seen to work. Also, with this it only happens on certain games some games i can play for a long time and have no issues but some just crash at certain points all the time and some just dont work overall.

My specs if needed are -

MSI B450M MORTAR TITANIUM Motherboard
Sapphire graphic card, 11294-01-20G Radeon Pulse RX 5700 8GB GDDR6
Amd ryzen 7 2700x
CorsairVengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3000 MHz C16 XMP 2.0

Hi,

Have you installed the latest drivers for your video card? Does changing the visual settings on the games that are crashing help at all? Are you overclocking any components? What version of Windows 10 do you have installed?
My drivers are up to date. Changing the visuals dont work at all. Nah im not overclocking. Im using the normal version of windows 10

What version of Windows 10 do you have though? Are you running version 1909?

Have you tried turning off enhanced sync in the AMD Radeon settings control panel?

What power supply does your computer have?
oh sorry but yeah im running 1909

i have never had enhanced sync.

i have a corsair 750w psu

Did you try resetting all AMD game settings back to default values in the AMD control panel? Did you install the AMD drivers from AMD's website released last week?
I dont run the game settings i used what this guy said he said use standard cause it activates all this stuff that isnt good for the gpu.
When i installed the software it installed all the drivers straight away.

This is most likely a driver issue with the Radeon 5700 series of video cards. Many user's are reporting the same types of issues. Do you have another video card you can use to test the system with?
Oh thanks. I have a spare gtx 960 i could try but once i tried it and it wouldnt load my screen at all like it couldn't detect my screens but ill try it again tomorrow. Thank you for your help sir.
