PC crashed can’t get past BIOS

Hello all. I am new here, not sure if I am posting in the correct place.

I turned on my PC it loaded to windows and I stepped away from the PC for a few minutes. When I came back the background was frozen. I was unable to click on the windows icon to restart the PC so I turned it off using power button.

When I turned it back on it loads straight into bios. The boot order is correct, I see the SSD. When I exit bios, I see the msi logo and it loads right back into bios. I can’t seem to load windows at all.

Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hello. Thank you for the reply.

X570 msi, AMD ryzen 9 5900x, evga 3080rtx, ssd evo 970.
Just one SSD connected.

Sorry I’m not tech savvy, I been trying to find that in bios but can’t seem to find where to reset to factory settings. The only option i see is secure erase+

I attached a picture of how the bios screen looks if that helps.

I did that and no changes, keeps loading straight into bios and when I exit bios it loads back into bios.
Did the power reset. Unplugged everything, turned psu switch off. Held the power button for 30 seconds. Took out ssd and cmos battery and that didn’t change anything as well.

The ssd shows up in BIOS, when I view it through m flash I can see the files but when I press in the files nothing is there. When I view the st200 I can see all the files. Is this a sign of a failed ssd?

When you say boot from usb drive do you mean by changing the boot order to usb or using a usb with windows?

You might have to.

One thing that is suggested that you use a Live Version of Linux to see if you can access the drive that way you can get any documents pictures that you do not wish to lose. Just another reason to BACKUP your data onto external drives.

Possibility the SSD has failed cannot say for sure could be just having issues.

How are you checking to see the information on the drive?
