Solved No signal while playing games, Dwm.exe

Hi there my system is old, but it worked without problems till this year I've tried every possible fix except changing hardware, not possible at this moment. When playing games, sometimes it happens after a couple of weeks, and sometimes it happens countless times in one month.

Yes I did run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and I did clean boot still not helping.

I begin to think my 6 pin power cable has something to do with it because sometimes when I boot up my pc it will not post and when I wiggle the power cable and restart then it posts.

So replacing my GPU doesn't mean it will be fixed because you RMA'd your GPU and you still have the error? Man, that makes me worried.

You ran the DISM did you then run the SFC?

Have you tried reinstalling the GPU drivers using DDU to remove then current one completely. Will need to download new ones.

Yes did run DDU and clean install new Nvidia drivers, also formatted Windows I take all my Ram and cleaned then reseated it.

Haven't tried it because what games can I even run on the onboard graphics? Because this only happens to me when I'm gaming.

You installed the Chipset and then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer or downloaded from their site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

Have you tried one of the other display sockets on the MB.

Well I have a folder with all my drivers that came with the pc the Chipset, storage etc... And i always install them first then Nvidia, and then I connect to the internet, so windows can update after. And for the other display sockets when I do reseat my GPU in another socket I can get maybe like 2 weeks without errors then the error will come back randomly. And yes I did run the DISM and SFC did a clean boot also made another account and tried that also.

I changed the 6 pin cable and also changed my NVIDIA from maximum performance to optimal performance, haven't crashed yet but will keep you updated.
