No display from motherboard

Did you make sure there were no standoffs fitted to the case where no motherboard securing screws go. Often case manufacturers fit standoffs for the full size range of motherboards.

If that is OK suggest you remove everything and build the computer outside the case on some non conductive surface and test it.

Its a brand new board
That board depending on its revision may be an old model, and you did not answer an earlier question as to the revision of the board. Have you checked if the your ram is compatible? What was the make and model of your old board?
