Solved No Boot Device Found.

I recently replaced my HDD with a SSD. The cloning of my HDD and installation of SSD was remarkably simple for an amateur and everything worked as it had been only much faster. However when I switched the PC on today the screen came up with NO Boot Device Found. Any advice /help much appreciated.

so prior to today, your swapping to the SSD had been working fine?

I'm wondering what has changed; Windows Updates?, new software installed?, changed any hardware?
any chance you have a CD or USB device attached and the system is trying to boot from that?

After reading your reply and sleeping on it I plucked up the courage to go into the BIOS set up and there I discovered the boot up sequence had somehow been reversed. I reset the sequence so the SSD was priority and everything started to function normally. Thank yo.
