Solved No bios display with hdmi

I have a Haswell I7 4 GHZ CPU with onboards graphics, an ASUS Maximus Hero VIII. My GPU appears to be faulty, I removed it and the PC started up into the bios. I have the monitor connected via MOBO HDMI, but the screen is black with no display found. I have done a bit of research and the MOBO appears to have onboard graphics as does the CPU, but I cannot get a display.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Sorry but you have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the following:

OS
CPU
Motherboard
RAM (including the amount and Number of Sticks)
Add on Video Card if one is used
Power Supply Unit

Providing these details will enable folk to better help you.

Sorry about that.

CPU: I know it's a Haswell/i7/4ghz (Can't remember the number) did a history research there, pretty sure it's an Intel Core i7 6700K.
PSU: Corsair CX750M.
MOBO: ASUS Maximus Hero VIII (It gave a
DRIVE: WD Blue SSD M2 1TB.
RAM: 32GB corsair dual value select ddr4 ram.
OS: Windows 10.
Grphics Card: Inno3d GC 1070 (faulty and being returned on Monday)

I tried a cmos reset. I got Q-code 63: CPU dxe initialization is started. Changed memory sticks from A1/B1 channels to A2/B2 channels and got code 53: Memory initialization error. Invalid memory type or incompatible memory speed. Replaced memory in original dimm slots, Q-code 53. Even tried one stick, same thing 53 code.
It's a build with leftover pieces from my latest build. Decided to go back to a 2 PC household.

Intel Core i7 6700K.
Is the information we needed

I know it's a Haswell/i7/4ghz

Haswell is the codename for a processor microarchitecture developed by Intel

There are several model numbers for that motherboard. You will have to look for the model number and rev number.

Now in another thread you stated.

Which make have done some damage to the motherboard and or other parts of the system.

The HDMI slot on the motherboard was gubbed, couldn't really tell at first, but the cable was hanging out slightly, I had a similar problem with the USB-c port. Sorry, but it took me a while to find a Display port cable, tried various monitors and HDMI cables. I'm using a Display port on the rear of the MOBO, finally got a bios display. Q-code A2. Still need to see if the ram is OK. I just think the Graphics Card was a dud.
