Hi, just like the title suggests, I bought a gaming PC from CYBERPOWER PC and I wanted to set it up so I used a "somewhat" old samsung TV I had around to do so since I'm still waiting on my new monitor, kind of weird but, I didn't have the HDMI cable of this TV so I ended up using the one from my nintendo switch to hook them both. Then, turned on the PC and for a brief while it will display "AS Rock" (MOBO brand) with some horizontal white lines on the top of the screen but then, it was all black but the fans were still working.

I did take the protective foam from inside the case, made sure the connections to the MOBO were solid and connected the HDMI cable to the GPU. Is this GPU too much for this TV? or did I miss something important? Should I wait for the new monitor to arrive to jump into conclusions? I need some advice.
Thanks in advance.

If it’s displaying the manufacturer’s logo then it should work.
Did you purchase the PC with Windows installed?
What GPU is installed?
How long will it be until you receive the monitor? If a few days then I’d see if the PC works with it. If it doesn’t then there’s a hardware fault.

Yeah, the listing says it comes with windows 10 installed. The GPU is a gigabyte RTX 3070 8GB, I found a monitor but it also is from 2011 (fml) so I'm kinda afraid to plug it.

Just another noob question, I just noticed that the compartment for the SSD is empty, but I saw there is a rectangular M.2 little rectangle connected to the MOBO. Is that thing replacing the regular SSD that I'm used to (the square one)?

As per fedex, it should be arriving tomorrow.

In theory if the TV/monitor & PC has a HDMI socket then it should show a picture.
The listing may show this but if it is a custom made PC then you may have to choose to have Windows installed.
Usually Windows is installed on a HDD/SSD not M.2.
I would connect the monitor again & use the Windows boot media/installation media to boot the PC>troubleshooting & reach cmd prompt, then type:
diskpart
list disk

and see if it shows the M.2 & if there’s anything on there but checking files size used & how much space is left.

Thanks for the advice, I tried to follow the steps you mentioned but even on the new monitor I wasn't getting any signal, neither from the display port or the HDMI and even when I found a couple troubleshooting guides for this issue, I rather have the people at best buy try to repair it (hopefully for free since this is a $1500 system) 'cause I dont want them to hit me with the "oh, you meddled with it so it voided any warranty" or I'll just return it, screw it.
Again, thanks for taking the time to answer this. Appreciate it!

Couple of observations;

You do not need to have Windows installed to be able to get into the BIOS so Windows is effectively ruled out as the cause.

If you are getting a "No Signal" message on the monitor it suggests that the problem is with the source of the video.

You have not included the specs in your OP so we have no idea as to what they are, if it is a Ryzen platform have you made sure that you are connecting the screen up to a video port on the add on GPU and not one on the MB which unless you have a Vega spec Ryzen or a HD spec Intel CPU will not produce any video output.
