I'm new to the PC realm and I have got a build in mind I just don't know how well it would work for gaming on high or maybe ultra settings

• red devil rx 480 8 gb Radeon
•intel core i5-8400
•32gb ddr4 ram 4x8gb g.skill aegis
•1000w psu
•asrock fatal1ty B250 K4
And a daven mid tower case
My goal is to get smooth 60fps in gta Skyrim battlefield ect
I already have a 1tb internal SSD to boot to but the majority of my storage is going to go on my 4tb external

Welcome to PCHF Dubstepduckling,

The following for guidance and in no way intended as criticism.

red devil rx 480 8 gb Radeon You can get better cards for less, the RX 590 and the 6GB GTX 1060 being two such cards.

intel core i5-8400 this CPU is not compatible with the asrock fatal1ty B250 K4 on your list.

32gb ddr4 ram 4x8gb g.skill aegis 16GB is overkill for most games ** at the moment but it is good to have ready for any future games that will require it. ** Flight sims benefit from having 16GB or more RAM.

1000w psu Sounds great but only if a good brand and Gold efficiency rated, again a solid 1000W PSU would be massive overkill.

And a daven mid tower case Unable to comment on this as we do not know the exact model.

I already have a 1tb internal SSD to boot Do you also have a full retail product key for Windows, if not, you need to purchase one as you cannot re-use an OEM one that has already been used.

Your best bet would be to tell us your maximum budget + in which country you we be making any purchase, one of us will put a compatible parts list together in no time.

Just curious on the GPU why would I want 6gb over 8 wouldn't the red devil be better than the gtx 1060
Also the CPU and mother board are both socket1151 shouldnt they both fit? and I know 32gb ram is way overkill I just wanna do that for the heck of it

I don`t make these things up Dubstepduckling :)

GPU benchmarks here

The following from the ASRock fatal1ty B250 K4 homepage here

Supports 7th and 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 / i5 / i3 / Pentium® / Celeron® Processors (Socket 1151)

*8th Gen Intel® Core™ desktop processors are supported with Intel® 300 Series chipset motherboards only

Entirely up to you if you want to waste your money but fwiw if you were to have 32GB of RAM even when gaming between 24 and 26GB of RAM would be sat there doing nothing.

I don't even use the windows pro key there is no point I can deal with the water mark I have in the lower right hand corner of the screen and 700 usd

Not a good answer, like the rest of us here you are bound by the PCHF Terms and Rules increase your budget and purchase a legitimate Windows product key.

First of all you have chosen rx 480 8gb which will i won't recommend you better go with GTX1060, RX580 or RX590.
Also 16gb of RAM is more then enough to play all modern title you don't need to go with 32gigs of RAM
Your have chosen 1000w power supply, but your system won't need that much of power better go with 650w PSU.
