Pending OP Response New Monitor Problem

Today I got a new monitor which was 165hz g sync but my hdmi cable supported none. I wanted to use the display port cable that came with the monitor but my graphics card didn't support it. Thus I connected it to my motherboard and it didn't work. I attempted to make it work by configuring my BIOS and making it not use my GPU instead use my integrated graphics. I tried rebooting and neither my hdmi nor my displayport would work. I can't get my pc to display onto any monitor now. Help please.

Please provide information about your computer, is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM (including the amount) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better assist you.

About an hour ago I reset my bios and I was able to connect my vga and re setup my bios. After that I was able to use hdmi just fine. I don't know how to close a thread so that's why I'm still here.

Oh so I can continue my displayport problem here? Alright then. I have a custom build that I usually play around with so don't judge the specs. Specs are as listed: Lenovo ThinkCentre M91p motherboard, GTX 750 TI, i5-2500 and 256W Liteon PSU (don't know much about the PSU. My DisplayPort slot leads into my motherboard, so does my vga. Somehow displayport just won't work while vga can work perfectly. Thank you for your support.

Edit: also sorry for the confusion on 2 threads I considered them 2 different problems I'm pretty new to this community

Can you post the brand and model name or number of the monitor that you are trying to use, it could be that which is the issue, something that is suggested by various threads I found here

Going offline now but will check back tomorrow after work, good luck with any of the suggestions that you may try at the various links.

To add to what has already been stated
GTX 750 TI
Minimum System Power Requirement (W) 300 watt
256W Liteon PSU
this is what you state having the PSU you have is not enough.
you will burn out the display card and maybe the power supply when it tries to compensate for the lack of power.

I did add my specs together, it doesn't seem like the PSU is a problem but it is definitely not the safest choice. Also the monitor model is LG UltraGear 32GN50T: https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-32gn50t-b-led-monitor. I might be returning this monitor soon because another problem is 32" with 1080p makes the pixels stand out too much and sometimes I really cant stand that. Anyways thank you for the support so far!
