Solved Need to view old page!

Good Morning,

I don’t know if it’s possible, but I need to see an exact website from 15/02/2022 again.

I made a payment and the travel company are disputing what I paid per person. I have tried my internet and Google history and the url keeps taking me back to the websites home page - not the screen I need!

I’ve had a look at the cache (I’m no expert) and it doesn’t look like it’s stored either.

And ideas?

Need the payment box that cut off the right side.

Like yourself I`m no expert here and so could be wrong but being a secure area that contains sensitive data it may well be that the information gets erased as soon as the browser page gets closed.

Not sure why you need the info but why can`t the individuals that you paid for provide the back up information and likewise a bank statement showing the amount that went out, example, if four of you went on holiday and £4k got taken out of your bank the holiday cost a thousand pound each.

In a nutshell, I’m travelling with my 19 month old daughter on a 23 hour journey to Australia. We paid full price for 3 adults and her so that she could have her own seat. The agency are now saying that we didn’t pay full pice for her, and she doesn’t have a seat on the flight.
I’m going to have to spend 23 hours with her on my knee :(

Need to prove the breakdown of what I’ve paid.
I’ve already proved they’ve changed the invoice by the metadata stores on the pdf they sent me. I just need the original confirmation to support it.

They have sent me the attached pdf invoice (which doesn’t show what the webpage I need showed at the time). We paid £630ish each. They have altered the invoice and raised the adult prices to reduce the price of my daughter.

They confirm the pdf was made on the day of the booking (Feb 2022) however the document was edited prior to being sent to me on 24/12/2022.

If I can prove 100% what was paid on the day on the page I need I can prove it without doubt.

If they have gone to such lengths as altering a PDF they must be 100% certain that you cannot access the info anywhere else to prove otherwise.

As said, you leave any secure area be it Paypal, online banking or even sending your energy meter readings as soon as you log out the information is gone, you would have all sorts of sensitive information floating around the web otherwise.

Only way to prove this would be if you had printed the information off at the time that you made the purchase.
