Need PC/Internet Monitoring Software To Document All Activity On One Machine

(Wasn't exactly sure where to post this so apologies if it's wrong)

Hi!

I am looking for the easiest, most resource friendly way to monitor and log all machine and particularly internet activity on my little home machine. I need to be able to refer back to any point in time and see what was happening during that period. I looked at Wireshark for internet traffic logging but trying to learn in hurt my brain. Assume I know nothing (very close to true) as I am not particularly tech savvy. Thanks!

Windows 7 Home Premium 64
Intel i3-2350M 2.30GHz

Not sure I understand your suggestion; did I post twice in this forum? If so it was inadvertent.

*UPDATE* Wait, did you see this question in another forum altogether? Is that bad?

You posted the same question at 3 forums that I found; there could be more. That is considered rude.

You wait a few days for a response at one forum and if you get no response then you post at another forum.

Um, yeah, since I clearly have offended sensibilities here, go ahead and kill this thread. I assume that's why you're asking? Sorry about that internet, my bad. And thanx jmarket and Pierre-S! I appreciate the help.

Nothing or no one offended here, simply a question to you about seeking info from one source so as any advice would not conflict with that from elsewhere.

As per you request will close the thread.
