Solved Need Help w/ Apple Tablet That Has Black Screen

I know very little about Apple Tablets & I need help w/ this. A friends Apple Tablet has a black screen. He tried resetting it & it did nothing. I don't know what to do. I was suggested to play around w/ it but that might mess it up even more. Please help me w/ this.

I figured out something, his battery was dead & he was needing a new battery for his tablet but since EBay nor Amazon has his battery, he'll just need to get a whole new tablet.
Sorry for not letting you guys get a chance to respond.
