Hello,
I own n HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0xxx and I have been frustrated by its slow speed in booting up games and applications. For example, Crusader Kings 3 takes more than 20 minutes for it to boot up.
Due to this, I wish to upgrade to SSD. From what I have gathered, my laptop has two storage devices. I have a 1 terabyte HDD (hgst hts721010a9e630) and a 16 gigabyte SSD in PCIe M.2 style (intel mempek1j016gah) which is currently empty.
I would like to switch out the 16 gigabyte SSD with a 1 terabyte SSD that I plan on purchasing on Amazon as I would still like the 1 Terrabyte HDD to store photos and documents. I would also like to have Windows run off the new SSD to help my computer boot up faster.
So basically what I would like to know is if my plan is solid and also how would I install Windows on the SSD when I already have it on the HDD?
Any Help would be much appreciated.
