Right sorry should of been a bit more specific... its desktop... and no graphics card just straight to board...and it shows right when it starts up or gets power... thanks for the response

It's telling you there is no signal to the monitor, you don't even know if it is trying to load the bios or operating system. It could be.
  1. Faulty monitor
  2. Faulty monitor cable
  3. bad video card/onboard video
  4. Failed motherboard
  5. Other failed hardware
You have not provided information but if you have onboard video and a dedicated video card, REMOVE the dedicated card, plug a known good video cable into the onboard video port and plug it into a good known monitor. DO NOT plug the video cable into the onboard port whilst the dedicated video card is installed in the PC.

Windows xp......It really is time to move on..

No video card just straight onboard port... and like I said at the beginning it's for a system that runs on basic programming... it's for a digital jukebox so no need to upgrade....

I appreciate the info but ended trying the one thing I should of tried from the beginning... the power supply. Changed it for a new one and started up. But thanks anyways... reading alot of members posts helped a ton.
