NEED HELP & ADVICE

I have a 9 year old desktop pc, and have just started to have problems i.e. have to keep restarting because just closes down, the screen goes all white, overheats, takes 10 mins to start up some times, unable to have windows 11 because doesn't meet the minimum hardware requirements and now missing new Folder to the desktop Right-Click menu, to name just a few

Your advice please take it to my local PC repairs or bite the bullet and get a new pc or maybe you could recommend a new PC?

g'day and welcome to the forums. :)

first up, at 9 years old, what maintenance have you done do the rig?
that is, physically and in Windows?
if little to none, I would be backing up my data then doing a Reset this PC.
that will reload Windows and you can tell it to keep all your software and settings or start anew.

as to over heating, I would also be opening up the case and doing a major dust blow out, either a soft bristled brush or an air compressor.
