Ok so I'm new here and currently i tried to search my problem in google hoping i would find any solution but so far i haven't seen anything similar.

So my PC stopped working one day, the day before that it was working just fine, then when i woke up it just won't start, i thought it was a Motherboard problem luckily the place that got it fixed before said it was working fine, i decided to replace the PSU just to make sure it ain't dying on me, but then when i got my PC back it just won't start, we went back to the shop and **** was running fine, by this time me, my brother, my aunt and the guys who fixed my PC were all scratching our heads, I don't know what's wrong with it.

I tried Googling some solutions for this or similar cases, no result, keeps boiling down to faulty wire cables and Motherboard, but thing is this won't start even when i had replaced the PSU with a new unit, it still wont boot or run in my place, but it runs on the shop, the Motherboard was fine because it ran smoothly on the shop, but for some reason it just won't start here at my place, my brother also has a PC and its working fine but mine suddenly just won't start up.

So i decided to ask here in this place if anyone has encountered this.

Hello

Have you tried a different electrical outlet at your home? Also it seems to me when moved it runs, so i would suggest that you ground your self and check for loose parts inside the pc.

Hmm i tried a different outlet and it did nothing, i haven't checked for loose parts, but we did try to manual start it using a screw driver, that did not work as well.

What would i look for incase there is loose parts? Im pretty new to this.

Just make sure all the parts that are inserted or plugged in are in tight.. Make sure you ground yourself simply by touching any metal, usually the pc case or the inside of the metal frame will do.

so huge update: my friend suggest i do a power drain, after like 2hrs of trying to pull this 24 pin cable, i gave up.
Luckily i found another solution, which was to power drain it via power button, so i unplugged everything, and hold that power button for 20 secs and boom she's alive!
But I am still convinced this is a temporary fix 😟

Could be a faulty power button.

Also, you have checked the back of the power supply and made sure the power switch there is ON.

You said that you tried different plugs are you plugging directly into the mains and not power strips?
