Hello everyone ..

My laptop used to connect to my Bluetooth Soundbuds without any problem, but after updating my drivers the laptop is not recognizing the earbuds anymore.
It doesn't appear when I try to add it as a Bluetooth device. What is interesting is that my laptop has a functioning Bluetooth driver and is able to connect with my mobile phone via Bluetooth. Moreover, there is no problem with those earbuds because they connect with other devices such as my iPad and iPhone and they are working just fine, the problem is with the Windows 10 laptop. Something has changed after updating the drivers. Here is what I tried to fix the problem:

  1. Though Device Manager I tried to uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth drivers many times, I tried to update them again, and updated Windows 10 as well. This didn't solve the problem.
  2. I used the Bluetooth Troubleshooter but this did not solve the problem either.
  3. I tried to restart the Bluetooth services, I discovered I have three Bluetooth services. I changed their Startup type into Automatic, however, one service seems faulty. It called BluetoothUserService_526d0. Whenever I try to change the Startup type I get an error ( The parameter is incorrect ).
I have attached a screenshot of how the Device Manager looks like. I think I have so many Bluetooth drivers.

I don't what is the problem at this stage. It could be a faulty service, missed up Bluetooth drivers. I don't know how to fix it and I am really frustrated. I need to use my earbuds.

This is my post in this forum. I'd appreciate it if you could help me solve this problem.

Can you go back to a restore point before you had the issue?

Updating drivers that don't have issues is fraught with danger. Unless a device is not working don't try and fix it.
