Hey, So i play competitive call of duty but it recently moved from console to pc so i gave up and i am now wanting to go at it again. I definitely want a build from a company but obvs i can customise. I spoke with pc specialist and they gave me a build with great power so when the 3 series are available again i can get one and itll work fine. But i ideally want a 3060 ti and i found this build by cyberpower uk. Is it good and will it be great for what i want to do? i have a 1080p 144hz monitor and my budget is nothing ideally above 1.8k. I will put both build down below.

Flip a coin
I have mainly used intel chips - not for any other reason except that's what was normally supplied.
After working on a couple of different sites I notice a lot of gamers are using Ryzen.
I will ask someone else for an opinion also.
I would probably go for the Ryzen
As for a case, to me a computer case is a black box with bits inside - old school.
Who really has a desktop computer on a desktop where they can watch the lights as opposed to the floor

I concur - 50/50 either way.
If I was forced, I'd go the Intel also, only because I have never dealt with AMD and when they first came out they had issues, obviously those days are long gone but I've never had a reason to move away from a good thing.

both builds are solid.
both could be improved.
as always, it comes down to money and usage.
