so I have an old computer running with windows 8.1 , I used to get sometimes BSOD but there was no problem with my hardware. Anyway one day when I was using it , the screen turned black suddenly ( although the computer wasn't at sleep ) so I made a forks shutdown and since then the screen doesn't show any image when I turn on the computer it isn't even able to boot to the BIOS.
I am sure the screen and cable are working because I tested them . what could be the problem here ?

We know absolutely zero about the computer or its hardware so even with the best will in the world it is impossible to make any kind of suggestion.

You need to provide information about your computer, is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM (including the amount) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better assist you.

Thanks for your reply.
But how can I get this information without being able to boot it? The screendon't show anything at all.

All I know that it's LG computer about 11 years old with 500GB and it supports 64bit and I think it may have 2CB or 4GB ram. That's all I know.

If the computer is an LG it should have a model name or number on it somewhere, if not;

You will have to open up the computer and get the information, you will need to do this to troubleshoot in any event so if not comfortable with working inside a computer the best/safest advice we can give is to take the computer to a local tech.

You are welcome btw :)
