Solved Mouse Issue - Light Permanently Bright, Unresponsive

Got a new wireless mouse yesterday. Was fine for a few hours but it's suddenly stopped working.

The cursor suddenly disappeared from the screen and the mouse now does nothing. I've also noticed that the red light is now permanently bright. Usually its bright for a split second when turning on and then dims. I've tried different batteries, moving the USB dongle to another slot. Nothing. It's part of a set with a keyboard and the keyboard is fine so it's not the dongle anyway.

Am I to assume it's simply faulty and dead?

Is it just the mouse that is affected or is the keyboard affected on any way?

Have you looked at their FAQ section?

Granted not the same thing yet may help.
When I turn on the mouse, the red light flashes several times and then turns off. What can I do?

Have you checked the mouse settings?

Device Manager to see if it is listed there and or any issues showing?

Yeah, tried their help stuff in the FAQ but didn't work unfortunately.

Keyboard is working absolutely fine. No issues there at all.
