Solved Motherboard weird heating issue?

Hello,

I've opened up my CPUID HWMonitor the other day and started looking at the temperatures and whatnot, then I noticed this weird thing. I really don't know if it's some kind of bug or miscalculation or an actual issue happening in my PC. I'm really concerned since I just got this PC rig like 4-5days ago and it shows under the motherboard section that one of the temperatures are at 100+ Celcius. I have no clue why this is happening, but it started yesterday.

Some theories I have in mind why this could be happening:
1- When I first got the pc, and I tried to open it by moving the lid made of glass, it accidentally fell and shattered all over the place, I cleaned up the place by using a vacuum and I used it inside the pc just incase there was any glass dust or pieces that were inside the pc, but I made sure there isn't any, and I just recently replaced it with some type of Acrylic instead of glass, but I really doubt that's the case.

2- Could it be because I had my PC running overnight for like 2days straight since I wanted to download some games since I just got it?
--
I don't really remember anything else that could cause this.

Thanks for reading!
Best regards,
Rava.

Hello Ravandous,

Not all readings from third party apps like HWMonitor are used and I suspect that this is one of them.

If you are having issues let us know what they are and for your own peace of mind go into the BIOS and check your temps and voltages there, always trust those readings over any program such as HWMonitor, Speccy or Speedfan etc.
