Monitor not working

Hello, recently I had my computer fixed at a store and my curiosity got the best of me. Going from 12gb of ram to 8gb because apparently 2 of my ram sticks were the cause for my computer not working I tried to plug them in to see if it were true or they magically fixed themselves. Anyways the probably I’m having now after taking out the bad ram sticks is that my computer doesn’t not find signal to my monitor (tested monitor with ps3 works fine). If someone could help that would be amazing I’m probably never going to touch my computer again if I get it to work. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks, Rhys.

Other info: computer boots up once resets then proceeds the boot up and runs without any interruption notes ( keyboard does not light up when the computer is running in that state, or mouse)

This is a guess as you haven't supplied much information on your system, but

You havn't by chance plugged your monitor into the onboard graphics instead of your video card, have you?

I haven’t touched my hdmi leading to my monitor just to make sure I touched less as possible so there would be less problems haha
