I'm having a problem with my monitor going black everytime i try to play any game, or do something that takes up a little bit of work.

My monitor is connected to my gpu, and whever the monitor goes off, it says that there is no video input but there was input while i was able to use it.

The rest of the PC still remains running and the fans on my gpu switch on and run which it doesnt before cause it wasnt hot enough.

I used to have this problem with the monitor switching off by just logging inot windows and goign off after 30 seconds.

Now its able to go a but longer but idk why.

Ive already Deleted and downloaded new drivers, got a replacement on my GPU, RAM, and PSU.

I treid reinstalling windows, and using the PC with minimum items.

Hopefully, we can come up with some solutions.

Here are my Specs:

Mobo: AsRock B450m Pro4-F

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 AF

GPU: XFX RX 570

Ram: Corsair Vengence 16GB (2x8gb)

PSU: Corsair CV650

Pci-e: TP-link AC1300 wifi card

Storage: WD Blue 500GB Sata SSD

Monitor: HP Pavillion 22cwa (HDMI)

Other: Giixer Keyboard and Mouse

Audio: Labtec Speakers

The cpu is running hot,i would check that cpu fan. If this is just a normal usage when you ran Speccy...that cpu temp needs to be taken care of..
I am using stock cooler right now. I don’t have case fans though, would I be okay to just get case fans or do I need another cpu fan?

If you are comfortable going inside your pc.. Check cpu fan,if the cooler is suppose to cool that too, there may not be enough air moving around inside the case . Make sure the heat sink is clean. Depending on the age of the pc it may be a possibility that new paste may need to applied to the cpu. Also you may have to consider adding a case fan.

Okay, it’s a newly built pc, there there are no dust buildup anywhere, the stock cooler had thermal paste on it. I guess I might just be airflow then. Am I right?

Hi,

What piece of hardware was reaching 102 degrees when the PC turned off?
Hi Evan,
The CPU was going to 102
I contacted amd and asked about it and they said not to use Speccy to find the temps. I downloaded amd master and saw that it’s was only going to a max of 65 degrees under 100% utilization. So speccy was giving the wrong info but I’m still having the problem where the pc crashes.

Speccy has a very long running temperature bug with reporting way too high values.
basically it can't be trusted - as the 2nd monitoring software has highlighted.

I would be removing the GPU and running the monitors off the onboard graphics card.
yes you probably can't play the games to test if the issue still occurs but try those other demanding programs and see if the problem repeats.
this will highlight whether it's the CPU or GPU.

I don’t have onboard graphics on my cpu.
