Micros0ft edge issue

Hi
i have just bought a new Desktop with windows 11 my old one was windows 10. I have an issue with Microsoft edge which i have read is a common problem. When i go onto some websites when it is loading "mmm cannot not be found comes up until l page loaded and it freezes constantly. I am not computer savvy when it comes to the operating side of it. I can do the basics .Any help would be great thanks in advance

I should have mentioned, Yes, Edge is Chromium based as well.
but being the successor to Internet Explorer which the world decided was crap and left it alone, I feel Edge is suffering all the bad juju from IE.
and if the end-users don't care for it, perhaps the web developers aren't either.

Open elevated command prompt, copy the command below paste into command window; hit enter.

Make sure Edge is closed, prior to this command!

del /s /q "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Cache\*.*"
