Solved microphone not detected as audio device

the mic worked fine until I messed around with some settings and now it's not detected as an audio input device. When I go to the devices in settings, it shows up under other devices instead of audio. When I go to select the input device it's also not an option to select. If I go to device manager, the mic shows up under "libusb-win32 Usb devices" and not under audio or anything sound related (i unplugged the mic back and forth to figure out where it showed up). I tried updating the drivers on the website but when I launch the wizard it just doesn't detect the microphone. I tried using it on another pc and it worked just fine so the mic itself doesn't seem to be the issue.

How would I go about fixing this problem?

Try doing a system restore to a point before you messed around with the settings.

@Jessica Kumar did the system restore solve the issue?
I didn’t have any system restore points before that so I wiped the pc completely (didn’t work) but after I updated to windows 11 the mic connected properly.
