Low Battery Question

Hello, I have been receiving the "Low Battery" alert on my Windows 7 PC for a few weeks. For the past week or so, the clock has reset to 2008 and I have been correcting it at the desktop icon each time I boot my PC for the workday. I was wondering, what kind of problems can arise from this? I heard that some software will stop letting you have a license after repeated clock resets? Is it better to reset the clock in BIOS? I will be replacing the battery soon, but I still want to know! Thank you!

Is this a desktop or laptop
If a desktop the cmos should not worry about the battery being low it should stay ok as long as you stayed plugged in
Changing in the BIOS will have no effect

Have never heard of this BUT I have not used every piece of software. Any thing is possible with computers

I was wondering, what kind of problems can arise from this?
None that I know of

Cheers
