Hi,

My 2 monrhs old used HP COMPACK 6000 Pro MT P, at first connected wirelessly to the internet at once but now it does not.

Googling told me to switch off the BT rooter for a few seconds & On again. That did it OK but now this trick does not work anymore.

How can I find Wi-Fi again? …...thanx …...nick

Need more information so other can assist.

Distance for WiFi?
What type of stuff is the signal passing through?
Have you tried a different broadcasting channel?
Version of Windows and Release and Bit version?
Does the same thing happen when you connect via cable directly to the modem?
Is this the WiFi card that is in the system and or a USB?
What is the make and model of the WiFi Card?
Have you tried resetting the WiFi cards settings?

How far away are you form the signal form the router?

What are the walls floors made of that the signal has to pass through?
Have you tried a different broadcasting channel?
You will have to refer to the routers manual for this information.

Answer all the questions to the best of your knowledge.

Any update for us nichos?

The fact that you can connect no problem via the Ethernet port confirms that it is the wireless device that has the problem.

What is the wireless icon showing as on the taskbar, bottom right of your screen, it should be showing a signal transmission icon if working or if not working an X or a globe icon.
