Hey everyone, so I'm new here, and let me start with the fact that I am also new to the PC world. I purchased a gaming PC back in November, primarily to play PUBG.
The issue I am having is that while playing PUBG, and ONLY while playing PUBG, i keep on losing signal to my monitor. The tower stays on, lit up, fans still going, but the monitor goes black and gives me the "lost signal to monitor" popup. I don't really play any other games, but it doesn't do it while browsing internet, or listening to music, etc. My daughter has played Roblox on the PC, and it hasn't happened then.
The only way to get back is to hold down the power button on the tower, shut it off, turn it back on, and it works.
Yesterday, I started playing at 9:30 a.m. It shut off about 20 minutes into it. This was with me loosening the side of the tower to get more air flow, just in case it was an overheating issue. After that happened, I took the side of the tower completely off, and ran a fan right at it. It didn't shut off again. Not sure if that means anything, but it worked. The problem with that, is that I have also had days where I don't have to do that at all and it never shuts off. Like it will run for 12 hours some times and never shut off.
I have the Ryzen 3 2200G processer, and the RX480 GPU. There is a 450W EVGA Bronze PSU.
There are 6 total case fans, plus the fan on the CPU.
I'm not sure what I can do to check what is happening. I'm sick of trying things that dont work. Please help.
