Locked out of my second Chrome account

Hard to explain this, but since I cleared browsing history in my Firefox settings, I can no longer access my second Chrome account. Each time I try, everything reverts to my primary Chrome account. I have sought assistance from Chrome's own (so-called) 'help' forum. Unhappily, due to its current setup there seems to be no way of posting a thread on the forum, this despite my having an account on it. Weird. PS. I still retain the password details for my second Chrome account, but don't know how to use it to regain the account.

Also, there's this: despite having deselected 'Browsing history' in Mozilla's Privacy & Security Settings, each time I now type something in the search bar, I get flagged up an absolute torrent of previous searches, whereas previously I had nothing! I think I have a reasonable understanding of the English language, so what the hell is Mozilla playing at???

An update: I've now managed to retrieve my second Chrome account. So that's all right. But I'm still baffled by my failure over the Mozilla browsing history situation. The problem began when I tried to delete Firefox's predictive text feature (or whatever Firefox calls it) in the search bar, but couldn't find anything in Mozilla's settings to achieve it. So Unticking Browsing history was a last desperate throw of the dice, so to speak. . . with the resulting bizarre outcome.
