I need some help on this. Iam a Linux newbie. I will give you info the best I no how.
My laptop is an Acer Ultrabook about 4 years old with 320 harddrive 4 GB Ram the main operating system is Windows 10 I have Linux Mint Live on a USB not installed.
Windows 10 or Linux wont bootup at all. This is no hardware issue, I checked that.
Iam not at all concerned getting Windows 10.
My main goal is to only have Linux installed. But my problem is this.
When I stick the USB in for Linux and try to boot it up, it boots to Linux Mint logo it wont go any farther.
It gives gives me options, Linux Mint, edit, command,
command I clicked that option.
It says grub>
Any ideas? Thank,s Chuck

As was suggested last time you asked this, try making a new Mint live USB. Once the pc boots to LInux you can install, and if your not concerned about Windows 10 allow Linux to have the whole disk.
